Gastrointestinal problems are no fun. And unfortunately, kittens are prone to have them because their digestive system is still learning the basics. Offer a world of nutrition tailored for your kitten’s sensitive tummy with the veterinarian-recommended Royal Canin Veterinary Gastrointestinal Kitten.

Royal Canin Veterinary Gastrointestinal Kitten is dry food for kittens from weaning to adulthood and for pregnant/lactating cats. This food helps reduce acute intestinal absorptive disorders and promotes nutritional restoration for convalescence.

This Royal Canin Gastrointestinal kitten food contains highly digestible ingredients and balanced fibers to support healthy digestion and intestinal transit. These fibers include prebiotics that promote a balanced and healthy microbiome.

Growing kittens have different nutritional needs than adult cats. And that’s why Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Kitten contains high levels of essential nutrients - including protein and calcium - and energy. Protein is essential for developing strong muscles, and calcium is vital for healthy bones and teeth. Moreover, energy gives your kitten the boost they need to grow healthy and active.

Lastly, this kibble is perfect for kittens with a decreased appetite because you can rehydrate it to facilitate food intake. Additionally, it’s an excellent method when transitioning your kitten from milk to solid food and it’s full of electrolytes.

FAQ

How can I feed Royal Canin food to my pet?

First, when introducing new food to your pet’s diet, make a gradual transition. We recommend you do a transition phase of seven days to avoid dietary issues. Mix a portion of the new food with your pet's current food, gradually increasing the ratio every three days until your pet is fully adapted.

Feed Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Kitten for one to two weeks during periods of/recovery from acute diarrhea until restoration.

Make sure your pet always has fresh water available. For better results, you can combine the dry food with Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Kitten wet food, which you can feed separately or in the same bowl.

Nevertheless, before use and for further guidance, speak to your vet and follow their advice.
