Indicated to control canine Leishmaniasis.
The clinical signs begin to decrease clearly, immediately after the beginning of the administration and two weeks later they are significantly reduced. These signs continue to improve for at least 4 weeks after the end of Milteforan application.
Administration:
Milteforan should be administered orally at a dose of 2 mg/kg of weight (which corresponds to 1 ml for every 10 kg of body weight per day), placed over the food, once a day, for 28 days.
Since the parasite is located inside deep tissues (bone marrow, lymph nodes, spleen, liver), it is crucial to respect the duration of treatment (28 days) to ensure the effectiveness of Milteforan.
