Farmina Vet Life Feline Struvite Management is a complete dietary food indicated for uroliths, recurring struvite, and idiopathic cystitis.

The low concentration of protein, phosphorus, and magnesium creates an unfavorable environment for the aggregation and precipitation of struvite crystals. The acidifying activity of DL-methionine and ammonium chloride keeps the slightly acidic Ph urinary, inhibiting crystal formation and bacterial overgrowth. These conditions make the product useful in the treatment of idiopathic cystitis.

Calcium sulfate, which provides mild urinary acidification, inhibits the formation of struvite crystals. Reducing the protein content by limiting urea excretion reduces bacterial proliferation. Small amounts of magnesium, phosphorus, and calcium decrease the formation and aggregation of crystals.
