Kidneys have a lot of work to do, but, in dogs suffering from kidney disorders, they simply cannot work properly. Fight your dog’s kidney disease without complications with Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Dog NF Renal Function Mousse.

Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets Dog NF Renal Function Mousse is a complete wet food for adult and senior dogs with chronic kidney disease. Purina’s specialists have formulated this diet for cases of chronic renal insufficiency and the reduction of calcium oxalate stone formation.

Phosphorus is one of the main culprits of chronic renal insufficiency (CRI). As such, this Purina NF canned dog food includes low levels of phosphorus to slow the progression of the disease. In addition, it also helps minimize the risk of secondary hyperparathyroidism.

Purina NF dog food contains restricted but high-quality protein to minimize the accumulation of uremic toxins - and consequent nausea - while maintaining muscle. Additionally, this formula features Omega-3 fatty acids to reduce renal hypertension and kidney inflammation.

Lastly, this diet helps minimize the metabolic acidosis associated with CRI and manage the formation of calcium oxalate stones.
