This aquatic plant’s key visual features are its star-shaped leaves, elongated growth form and light-green colour. This makes waterweed an ideal plant for all aquarium areas. The generally tall, slender plants make good background plants or are a great way to conceal technical equipment like filters and heaters. Whereas real aquatic plants often experience difficulties if positioned near filters or heaters, such equipment has no effect on the artificial version. Although it cannot replace the natural functions of a real plant, this lifelike replica still provides a great place for fish to spawn or hide.
