Imagine looking at your cat and knowing their urinary health is being supported from the inside out. Offer a world of nutrition tailored for cats with urinary problems with the veterinarian-recommended Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary S/O Cat Loaf.

Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary S/O Cat Loaf is wet food for adult cats to dissolve and minimize the recurrence of struvite stones through its urine-acidifying properties. Urinary problems in cats manifest in the appearance of urinary crystals and stones due to dietary mineral excess or a pH imbalance. These stones can be struvite stones, which are made of magnesium, ammonium, and phosphates and formed in neutral to alkaline urine. They can also present themselves as calcium oxalate stones that can appear regardless of the urine pH.

This wet diet efficiently helps dissolve all types of struvite stones and reduces their recurrence. Thanks to the high moisture of this wet food, it increases urine dilution. As a result, this makes your cat’s urine less susceptible to forming struvite and calcium oxalate stones. And since 55-65% of cases of Lower Urinary Tract Diseases (LUTD) are idiopathic cystitis, this wet food is an excellent option for recurrent cystitis in cats.

Additionally, due to low urinary Relative Supersaturation (RSS) that translates into lower ion concentration, Royal Canin Urinary S/O Loaf helps reduce crystal formation. As such, this food also promotes optimal urinary pH.

Moreover, it contains low levels of magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus, all natural components of struvite and calcium oxalate stones. Lastly, Royal Canin Urinary S/O Loaf cat wet food is rich in EPA, DHA, and antioxidants.

Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary S/O Cat Loaf key benefits:

FAQ

How can I feed Royal Canin food to my pet?

Feed Royal Canin Urinary S/O Loaf for five to 12 weeks to dissolve struvite stones and up to six months to reduce struvite stone recurrence. Your veterinarian should reevaluate your cat to assess the relevance of a lifelong diet recommendation and should check renal function before recommending a new diet.

Make sure your pet always has fresh water available. For better results, you can combine the wet food with the Royal Canin Urinary S/O dry cat food, which you can feed separately or in the same bowl.

Nevertheless, before use and for further guidance, speak to your vet and follow their advice.
