Details

When you spot your cat grooming themself, you know there must be a hairball coming imminently. Trixie Cat Malt - 100 Gr helps boost digestion and prevents the build-up of hairballs from swallowed hair during grooming sessions.

This Trixie cat malt paste is indicated to cats and should be given to them as a treat between meals or as a refinement of their main food. As a well-known natural digestive aid, Trixie cats malt paste regulates your feline’s metabolism and prevents the formation of indigestible hair clumps in their stomach. The development of hairballs is particularly regular during the molting season and for cats with long hair. Malt for cats is a tasty alternative to cat grass and is often well-accepted, even by the pickiest felines.

The Trixie malt paste contains malt extract as well as oils and fats. This malt cats paste works by covering each swallowed hair with a thin layer, leading to the fur’s natural expulsion before turning into clumps - aka hairballs - and creating an obstruction.

Quick tip: If you have a long-haired cat, in addition to giving them cat malt paste, comb their fur regularly to remove loose hair and reduce the amount they ingest during grooming.
