Good food for cats with allergies and ingredient/nutrient intolerances is not so hard to find. With the veterinarian-recommended Royal Canin Veterinary Sensitivity Control Cat, you’ll provide a world of nutrition tailored for cats with food allergies.

Royal Canin Veterinary Sensitivity Control Cat is dry food for cats to reduce ingredient/nutrient intolerances. Just like us, cats may suffer from skin and gastrointestinal issues that are triggered by food sensitivities and can negatively impact their life.

This food contains limited and selected high-quality protein and carbohydrate sources to minimize the risk of nutrient intolerance. These proteins, as well as starches and fibers (including prebiotics), are highly digestible to support a healthy digestive system. This balance occurs because these ingredients cultivate “friendly” bacteria in your cat’s gut.

Thanks to a special nutrient complex, including biotin, niacin, and zinc, Sensitivity Control supports the skin's natural barrier role, promoting optimal skin health. Additionally, this food also contains Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) to support the digestive system and skin, often affected by food allergies.

FAQ

How can I feed Royal Canin food to my pet?

First, when introducing new food to your pet’s diet, make a gradual transition. We recommend you do a transition phase of seven days to avoid dietary issues. Mix a portion of the new food with your pet's current food, gradually increasing the ratio every three days until your pet is fully adapted.

Feed Royal Canin Sensitivity Control for three to eight weeks. If signs of intolerance disappear, you can feed this diet indefinitely.

Make sure your pet always has fresh water available. For better results, you can combine the dry food with the Royal Canin Sensitivity Control wet cat food, which you can feed separately or in the same bowl.

Nevertheless, before use and for further guidance, speak to your vet and follow their advice.
