If your dog suffers from chronic renal insufficiency,  you’ll need the ideal diet to meet their nutritional requirements. Offer the best nutrition tailored to dogs with renal problems with Royal Canin Veterinary Renal Dog.

Royal Canin Veterinary Renal Dog is dry food for adult dogs with chronic renal insufficiency. Through its restricted phosphorus levels and moderate protein of high quality, Royal Canin Renal Dog supports renal function in dogs.

This food has an adapted energy content to reduce meal volume while supporting a reduced appetite. As a result, it helps to maintain healthy body weight.

The square-shaped kibble and the aromatic profile of this formula with a dedicated texture stimulate your  dog’s appetite. This is particularly important since dogs with renal problems are prone to a lack of appetite and food aversion.

Last but not least, Royal Canin Renal dog food is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, and antioxidants.

FAQ

How can I feed Royal Canin food to my pet?

First, when introducing new food to your pet’s diet, make a gradual transition. We recommend you do a transition phase of seven days to avoid dietary issues. Mix a portion of the new food with your pet's current food, gradually increasing the ratio every three days until your pet is fully adapted.

Initially feed Royal Canin Renal for up to six months in cases of chronic renal insufficiency.

Make sure your pet always has fresh water available. For better results, you can combine the dry food with the Royal Canin Renal wet dog food, which you can feed separately or in the same bowl.

Nevertheless, before use and for further guidance, speak to your vet and follow their advice.
