Cats’ hair is their most prized possession and their skin is the largest organ in their body and needs protection. If you need to support your cat’s hair and skin, you can start by changing their food to Royal Canin Hair & Skin Cat.

Royal Canin Hair & Skin Cat is dry food for adult cats over one year of age to help maintain hair and skin health.

This diet contains an exclusive nutrient complex that supports the skin’s natural barrier role. Thanks to high-quality proteins with specific amino acids, this food promotes healthy hair development and skin renewal.

Omega-3 and -6 fatty acids have a beneficial effect on skin health and coat condition. Actually, the presence of soya and borage oil (rich in gamma-linolenic acids), as well as fish oil, contributes to healthy, shiny, and glossy hair.

Additionally, Royal Canin Hair & Skin contains a number of other key nutrients, such as B vitamins, amino acids, zinc, and copper. Together, these nutrients support the skin’s barrier function and maintain excellent skin beauty, as well as hair strength and density.

According to a Royal Canin internal study, cats fed exclusively with this food had a significant improvement in coat shine after 21 days.

And last but not least, Royal Canin Hair & Skin Cat also helps to maintain a healthy urinary system.

How can I feed Royal Canin food to my pet?

First, when introducing new food to your pet’s diet, make a gradual transition. We recommend you do a transition phase of seven days to avoid dietary issues. Mix a portion of the new food with your pet's current food, gradually increasing the ratio every three days until your pet is fully adapted.

Make sure your pet always has fresh water available.

Nevertheless, before use and for further guidance, speak to your vet and follow their advice.
